For those of you that have Direct TV or any thing like it :)
We watch a bunch of shows and when they all started back up again in September we were so busy that we decided to record them. We figured we would watch them the next night or before the next one came on. Well.....one episode turned into 2 and then 3 and so on all the way up to 14!! So over Christmas break we watched all of the House episodes and some of Ghost Whisperer and thought we had done pretty good. Then we fell behind again and now have 4 or 5 House to watch and back up to 9 Ghost Whisperer.
I finally decided that I would delete Fringe because it wasn't one of those that I HAD to see (there were 14 of them) and we had also recorded Three Rivers(13 of those)....well come to find out that show isn't on anymore...again, one season and then it is off. The main character in that show was in a show called Moonlight which was only on for one season and then never came back...so is it his acting or are they just putting him in shows that nobody wants to watch...although Moonlight was a dang good show! Ok back on track.....I didn't want to get hooked on a show that wasn't coming back on.
So over the past 3 days we watched about 3 Bones episodes, and all 14 of the CSI:Miami episodes we have missed. After getting through all of those I told Kris...we will watch them before the next one airs....we will see how long that lasts.
My advice to anyone who records their shows....don't let them pile up it takes forever to watch them. Although it is nice because you can watch them when you want, it is a pain if you don't stay on top of them :)
On another note....I'm hungry :)

I usually only let myself do one or two days after...unless its a MUST SEE tv show like The Biggest Loser, Ghost Whisperer, Medium GLEE and such.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I do the same thing with Glee, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance....those I HAVE to watch within a day or two or as soon as I can :)
