How Time Flies

Wow, I have not blogged since November 2012! Since then a lot has happened...since most of you are my friends on Facebook, I will not bore you with details :) We will start out with what we have been up to since May.

At the end of May I got a job at the Christian Aid Center in Walla Walla as the receptionist (I am also co-director of Children's Ministries at my church). I only work about 10 hours a week right now but I love every minute of it! I am currently not enrolled in school, I needed to take a break...now I am debating on what I will actually get my masters degree in. Tough choice! I have been doing a lot of crocheting but this time around it is more for my family and friends and for fun! I really enjoy making things for other people but having a large amount of orders to fill makes it stressful and no longer fun for me. That's enough about me...let's move on!

Kris has been working at Kilmer's for over year now (He was let go at Home Depot after three years). He is continuously working on our cars and enjoys relaxing at home. He is looking forward to hunting season this year...if you cannot tell from his posts on Facebook :) He really loves his job and was actually given more hours today! During the spring he swapped out motors in a car...his first time doing so and it was a huge success!!

Kristopher was attending Weston McEwen High School until April of this year when we decided it would be better to try the online school. He was failing all of his classes and was unable to participate in sports or other school related events. In the beginning it went well. Then about three weeks in he was failing....he ended up failing his freshman year of high school. Because the school cannot make the decision to hold him back we decided it would be for the best. After meeting with the high school principle, Kristopher was re enrolled at WMHS as a freshman. We are praying for great results this year! He is playing football and plans on playing basketball and baseball. He will be 16 in 21 days!! Oh my gosh!!!

Kamryn is doing good...mouthy, but good. He started 8th grade this year. He is in a class that is in charge of the school newspaper and he is applying for student counsel. He is also in the high math class in his grade. Kamryn spent his summer earning money by watching Konnor while Kris and I worked. He will be playing basketball and doing track this year....I cannot believe he is almost in high school!

Konnor is growing like a weed...he is in size 4T clothes and he is 2 1/2!! He talks up a storm, is very, very close to being completely potty trained, he rides a bike with training wheels, loves peanut butter sandwiches, and adores his brothers. He is a very smart and funny kid! However, when he is mad, he is mad. That kid can almost shatter glass with his ear piercing screams....they are very hard to ignore.

Michael, my oldest, is a senior this year!! He moved in with grandma and grandpa in December so that he could be with his biological family. It has taken some adjusting but we love having him here and I am sooo excited to be a part of his senior year! He is playing football and plans to play basketball and baseball as well. He gets good grades and it looking forward to getting his license in December when he turns 18! Oh my gosh! How is that possible.

I love my little family and the life that we have. I thank God every day for the blessings he has given me even in the down times. I am looking forward to the beautiful fall weather and pumpkin EVERYTHING!! I hope you all enjoyed your summer and are settling into a regular school (or not) routine! I plan to blog more often now that I remembered I had this!

P.S.
Konnor has some pretty entertaining moments so stay tuned!!
