When You Move Remember to...

When you move remember to...
Change your address with the post office, let doctors and other facilities know your change of address and phone number, let friends and family know, and most importantly let your PO know if you have one.

After a few days of living in our new house a guy came to the door and Kamryn answered it.  He asked him his mom or dad were home and I came to the top of the stairs just in time. The guy was pushing the door open and had completely stepped into the house when he looked up and saw me.  He said oh, you aren't Ron and I said no he doesn't live here.  Her apologized and immediately walked out...lol. Very nice about it but this all could have been avoided had Ron let him know he moved.

A couple of days after that Kamryn answered another knock on the door and I hear the person ask if his dad was home and he said no my mom is and the guy asked to talk to me.  As I was walking down the stairs he looks up and said you are not the person I am looking for, does Ron live here and I said no.  He asked when we moved in and I said Friday, this was a Monday, and he said oh, well I guess I will look elsewhere.  He thanked me and left.  I felt sorry for Ron at this point because now is PO was looking for him.

Then this morning at 1:00 there was a knock on the door and I didn't get up right away because I wasn't sure I actually heard it.  I didn't know what time it was when they first knocked and I thought maybe it was my Mom and it was around 6 or 7.  Then the person RANG THE DOORBELL!!  Who does that at 1 in the morning.  Kamryn came out of his room at the same time I did and said someone was at the door and asked if I was going to answer it.  I was hoping that by ignoring it they would go away.  I knew that if it was someone I knew they would have called me not come ringing the doorbell at 1 in the morning.  Sure enough they knocked again but did that dat dat da dat dat, dat dat knock and I knew it wasn't anyone I knew.  I turned the light on and went down the stairs and opened the door a little.  This guy is standing there and asked if Ron was here, I said no he doesn't live here anymore.  He then asks me where he lives....LIKE I KNOW!!!  I said I didn't know I don't know Ron.  His response was Huh, ok thanks.  Then he walks off.  No apology or nothing!  At this point I am no longer feeling sorry for Ron I am hoping that his PO found him!!

Morale of the story...remember to tell those that you associate with that you are moving!  Do not let someone else be the receiver of a door knock or doorbell ring at the wee hours of the morning!  Have a GREAT day!!

Alot Has Happened in...

Wow, it's been almost a year since I last blogged!  Time has flown by!  Most of you already know that we had Konnor on January 23, 2012!  He is now 4 months old and growing fast.  We recently started him on cereal and he LOVES it. He is trying to roll over and he laughs all the time.  Soon he will be crawling...UH OH!  All in all he is going great and he is soooo precious!  We are so blessed by all of our boys!

We moved to Walla Walla to be closer to Kris' work and save on gas.  We LOVE being in WW!  It is just right for size and there is so much more to do here...no more driving 30 minutes to go to the store, we could even walk!  There is less storage here but it is exactly what we wanted.  We have some awesome neighbors who we have gotten to know and spend a lot of time sitting outside visiting with them.  We will be finding a new church here because it is a lot of work getting Konnor fed and ready to go in the morning and getting to Athena on time.

Kris has been at Home Depot for 2 years now and he even got promoted to Department Supervisor of Receiving!  Such a blessing...he really wanted that position!  He is really loving his job and is wanting to move up into an assistant store manager position.  He is enjoying not having to get up super early and only having to leave 15 minutes before he has to be to work :)

I am currently staying at home with the kids and attending school for my Masters of Arts in Psychology...a different path from Music but so worth it!  Other than that there isn't anything interesting going on with me :)

Kristopher was home schooled this year due to bullying but will be returning to school here in WW.  He did amazing with the home schooling and got all As!!  So proud of him.  He did not play any sports this year :(  He wanted to play baseball but I could not get a hold of anyone in Babe Ruth in order for him to play.  I love how people can return a simple phone call or an e-mail. Oh well, next year he will play for WW and I won't have to worry about him not getting to play because the coaches kids come first...plus he has more options for sports here :)

Kamryn did great in school this year like normal :) We moved before the school year was over but he just stayed home and I finished his schooling here.  He too will go to school in WW and have more options for sports.  Kamryn played basketball this year, he says that is his favorite sport.  The neighbors have 3 kids and the boy is the same age as Kamryn and the 3 boys get along great.  They all have decided that next year when they start school they are going to tell everyone they are half brothers...lol.  Crazy kids.

This past weekend we got to see my Dad and Step-Mom, they came up for Sean and Robin's wedding!  It was a BLAST and I am so happy for Sean and Robin.  What a beautiful wedding!  My parents got to meet Konnor for the first time and he adored them :) he even laughed and smiled for them...I was glad :) We are hoping to make a trip down to see them at the end of the summer :)

4th of July is coming up fast and we will be barbecuing with the neighbors, playing games, and watching fireworks from our house, can't wait!  I will try and blog more...I want to keep everyone posted on the boys' progress and what is going on in our lives.  Have a blessed day!!
